Set Up What This Property Can Record
Use this wizard to choose the assets and record types that belong on this property. Assets are the things, places, equipment, mobs, or monitoring points you manage. Observations are the records attached to them, such as notes, photos, pasture readings, water checks, weather readings, stock events, or sensor data.
Choose assets first. The Observations step will then show records that make sense for those selected assets, plus general records such as notes and photos. For example, weather readings need a weather station or similar monitoring asset, while trough checks need water assets.
Nothing is saved until the Review step.
Choosing The Right Groups
Normal grazing and mixed farms usually start with paddocks, stock mobs, water, infrastructure, monitoring, notes, photos, pasture, and stock records.
Growing areas are mainly for market gardens, orchards, nurseries, vineyards, and intensive horticulture. Most pasture farms should use paddocks for grazing, pasture, and dry matter records.
Farm Words And Capture Defaults
Use this step for property-specific language and capture behaviour that affects how records are described and imported. The asset and observation choices stay separate so this step can stay focused.
